Senior Developer (Low Latency, C++) – Hedge Fund, China

A prestige Hedge Fund in China is looking for a seasoned Senior Developer to their dynamic and growing team in Shanghai, China.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, developing and maintain scalable, multi-tiered high performance, low latency trading applications and infrastructure
• Benchmarking and tuning critical software services to achieve optimum performance internally
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Technologists to deliver top notch solutions for APAC
• Provide tactical and strategic solutions to meet business requirements
• Provide support to resolve technical issues and implement preventative measures

Job Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 5+ years of software development experience in investment banking environment
• Strong in C++ in a Linux environment
• Expertise in development low latency trading applications
• Experience in Object-Oriented design and Multithreaded programming
• Experience in developing cross-platform multithreaded applications from scratch is a plus
• Sound exchange and market data knowledge
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent working attitude with the willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and business level fluency in English
